In line with our commitment to promoting sustainable access to clean and safe water, FAcE-PaM successfully organized a three-day training for local artisans drawn from Mabudi, Dadin kowa and Garkawa communities.

The training aimed to build artisans’ technical skills in borehole maintenance and solar-powered systems, improve water quality management, and promote financial accountability. It also reinforced community ownership to ensure long-term sustainability of water facilities. Participants were introduced to modern and traditional borehole systems, solar-powered water technology, and essential maintenance tools. They engaged in practical exercises on preventive maintenance and jointly installed a water treatment plant to reinforce their learning.

The training was honored by the presence of the community head, who pledged leadership support and guidance. His commitment reinforced the importance of community-driven ownership and long-term sustainability of water resources.
Through this training, FAcE-PaM has equipped artisans with the necessary skills to ensure continuous access to safe water for their communities. By combining technical knowledge, financial accountability, and strong community involvement, the program laid a solid foundation for sustainable water management systems.
